Notes:

Sermons should never exceed 20 minutes and should be 15 minutes.

Responsive readings are in fact particpatory prayers or reflections. This does not mean other prayers exclude participation. A psalm or faith equivalent can be counted as a responsive reading.

The Lord's Prayer can be to music, said or rewritten.

Confessional prayers can be general in approach. The idea is to recognise and clear the bad before moving on.

Readings should be brief and to the point. Where there are two or more readings, one should be from a faith scriptural or worship source.

Meditation means a programme of breathing or visualisation, a minute's silence is different and is optionally built into other prayers.

The services structures can reflect different theological stances: more or less theism, faith variations, more or less magical superstition, more or less naturalism/ supernaturalism.
