Responses: Epiphany

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Through him all things were made. In him was life and that life was the light of us all. The light shines in the darkness:

We have seen his star in the East, and have come to worship him.

Christ is the image of the invisible God, the first born over all creation. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together:

We have seen his star in the East, and have come to worship him.

The Word became Flesh and lived for a while among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth:

We have seen his star in the East, and have come to worship him.

In the past, God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, who is the radiance of his glory and the exact representation of his being:

We have seen his star in the East, and have come to worship him.

God, who said, "let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ:

We have seen his star in the East, and have come to worship him.

Amen.
