St Mary's Services
 Barton-upon-Humber

The Liturgical Year (click above) shows the practice of colours for robes and altar hangings through the year, and gives a visual display of the Christian seasons. There is more on this in the  Learning - Religion  area. The Church Services Calendar (click above) shows worship at the Parish Church of St Mary on any day through the year. Mouseover the Church Services Calendar to see the details of services. These are general dates; see specific times to check. These services will simplify and unify times later in the year but for now general times remain as have been. So Sundays (in turquoise) vary in times as shown. Special days are marked in yellow. The magenta and orange rectangles show the United Ecumenical Prayer and the Said Eucharist or Said Eucharist with Wholeness and Healing on Tuesdays. The grey rectangles show the third Mondays in any month for residential home communions and third Thursdays in any month for individual Home Communions. Morning prayer is usually said Monday to Thursday at 9 am. If need be go to the Calendar Generator (click top left) to get the day for any date and another view of any month.
The prayer book Common Worship lists Holy Dates (click below) in terms of ranking of Principal Feasts and Holy Dates, Festivals, and Lesser Festivals and Commemorations. Use with the Calendar Generator (click top left) (dd-mm-yyyy) and the Church Services Calendar mouseover grid (click second to top right) showing service times for any day.
